How do I care for my baby’s new teeth?

The most ideal thing to take care of your baby’s new teeth is to run a clean damp washed cloth over your baby’s new teeth and gum every day. Well take extreme care while cleaning your baby’s teeth with washed clothes because if the cloth is not clean, it can be responsible for the building up of bacteria’s in your baby’s mouth. You can also use small soft bristle tooth brush as well without tooth paste to clean out your baby’s teeth.

You do not need to use any kind of tooth paste for your baby until your baby reaches to the age of 2 years and he has learned to spit as well. Once your baby has reached to this age, now it’s time for the regular dental check up of your baby. According to American Academy of Pediatrics and according to American Dental Association you should take your baby for the first dental visit right after his first birthday when will have first tooth. Remember a good regular dental check up is important because it will help your baby to have a firm and healthy teeth and gums in his life.
