Although exercise is good for pregnant women, there are other conditions that can limit exercise. Ailments such as, pregnancy induce abortion, hypertension, abnormal uterine contraction, vaginal bleeding and placenta previa. If you suffer any of these conditions, refrain from doing exercises.
Best suited exercises for pregnant women are the following, dancing, swimming, stretching, walking and yoga. Walking is the best from of exercise recommended to pregnant women. While doing exercises, always listen to your body, when you feel tired and pumping, stop immediately.
During pregnancy, our body has a means of communicating when a time for us to stop certain activities when the following are felt; feeling of tiredness, dizziness, blurring of vision, palpitation, shortness of breathe, slight pain in the pelvis.
When the weather is hot do not try to take exercises outside, high temperature will affect the fetus in your womb. There are also milder exercises that should be avoided like; bouncing, vigorous movement, leaping and twisting.  |
