Milestones to reach by your baby between 9 to 12 months

Along with eye contact, social smile and cooing there are two more milestones that your baby should be reach between the ages of 9 to 12 months.

•First word
First word by your baby is considered as the biggest milestone that your baby has reached between the age of 9 to 12 months. Most of the babies start to say their first word at the age of almost 12 months. The words spoken by your baby at this age are mostly monosyllabic words like mo for more and ba for baba. These are the limited words pointing towards the basic objects, soon he will be a chatter box, and you will love to talk with him.

•Pulling up and standing
At about 9 months, your baby will stat to pull things and he begins to try to stand up by pulling or climbing different things. This shows that your baby’s torso and leg muscles are getting strong and your baby shows more independence. Before long, he will be a running robot and you will be chasing him around your house.
