Why do you suffer infection during pregnancy?

Pregnancy is a beautiful word in the right time and in the right place. But it could also be the worst when you suffer from infection. There are several causes of infection during pregnancy. It is probably due to hormonal changes.
One specific infection is Candida Albicans. Candida Albicans is a kind of fungus that grows in a humid temperature? This type of fungus grows well in moist area and in dark places. Its favorite place is the vagina, in between fingers and in between toes, anus and inside the genitals. Candida Albicans is brought by imbalance chemical reactions of an organism. It’s characteristic is pruritus itching. When not treated immediately, the infection may reach to the cervical canal. Remember that our cervix is an extension from the vulva to the uterus. Our uterus holds the fetus and the fetus will be affected naturally.
Candida Albicans can be treated by these simple steps:
• Lessen or better avoid eating carbohydrates and sugary foods. Candida Albicans thrive mostly on sweets. Carbohydrate also consists of sugar.
• Take probiotics such as yogurt and lactobacillus. They fight yeast build up and strengthen our immune system
• Eat garlic. Garlic has an anti fungal property that fights against yeast formation. When you are pregnant, the smell of garlic is very pungent; you can substitute grapefruit and olive oil. Both have the same effect with garlic.
• Refrain from eating foods that cause allergies. Shrimp, egg plant, dried fish and sea shells or any other foods that you think you might have allergy with. Candida Albicans targets your immunity. When your immune system is affected, more itches are coming in and the symptoms will just aggravate the situation.
• Refrain from eating process foods. Process foods too much spices which is bad for your health in general.
• Refrain from drinking milk. Milk is good for our body. There is no doubt in that, but milk also contains so much yeast. Candida Albicans is a yeast it self.
Another thing is Urinary tract Infection. While pregnant, urinary tract infection is very common because the uterus sets on top of the bladder. As the uterus grows the bladder is pressed, that is why as pregnant mother, urine incontinence is most likely to develop. When UTI is not treated, it will lead to kidney infection. A kidney infection may lead to premature labor.
