Child Development on Its 11th Month

Your child is almost on his way to full potential. So many changes spring up at every month of baby’s life, but on his eleventh month of life, all other things considered normal, and the baby is not born deaf, he enters into the wonderful world of words. He now can utter simple syllable words. You can distinguish deaf babies because usually stop babbling at his age and no longer show signs of learning language.
It is best to take advantage of this development by fostering it. He still needs plenty of care and moral support; there are many things and tasks that she can perform with confidence liveliness. Simple things he can see in his surroundings while riding on his stroller can now be taught. Babysitters and parents can do this by pointing to every tree, people, flower, cat, chick, dog, bird or car. As children mind is like a blank table they can easily absorb these and then will surprisingly point or wave, babble or claps when he sees these objects because he can identify them himself. This also helps him develop social maturity with his exposure to other people and strangers.
He is getting much stronger now, no longer fragile and yet not a time to be left alone out of an adult’s sight. 11- Month old child development is the time when your baby is a milestone in the building and refinement of his attitude, developing skills and improves performances.

On the physical side, he is becoming more independent. He is able to perform motor skills by sitting, squatting, crawling and standing alone with some support. His babbling sound continues and it pays to be patient as he tries to carry a conversation, trying to understand the ones he can utter clearly.

Baby can start understanding new ideas at this age. As parents you can illustrate ideas of big or little, empty or full, up or down with objects and/or actions. Some pediatricians even suggest using baby signs and claim that using baby signs can stimulate the child’s intelligence. It is not so surprising how babies develop their decision-making skills at this age. Parents can see this by letting the child point a choice between two things, like a ball or a toy car.
Many other cognitive skills can be taught now, such as color identification and naming numbers, moms if you are working, you may find it a challenge to read to their babies after a day’s work. But, it is a good thing not to let this time of the child’s life without making bedtime stories or nap time stories a routine they can grow up with. This both relaxes and strengthens the bond between the parent and the baby.
