Changes on its second term of pregnancy

Second trimester can be a time of rapid fetal development. By this time the pregnant mother may already adjusted her life to preparing for mother hood. Brain development and heart may already been fully developed. On this stage, try to observe the pregnant neck. What do you see? A fast and rigid pounding on the center front of neck. It is a positive sign that the fetus is really developing well and growing fast.
Second stage of pregnancy is centered on the changes of hormones most specifically the progesterone hormones. This progesterone will affect hemoglobin to pregnant women. No wonder why a pregnant woman faints and feel dizzy or nauseated. This is mainly due to the rapid fetal heart beat that lessen the blood flow from the mother’s brain and to the central nervous system. But studies show that this feeling may not have a longer effect. Dizziness will soon disappear after sometime. The expectant mother at this stage is advice to have a prenatal exercise like stretching to keep blood circulation flow easily. Even though a pre natal exercise like stretching is advise, vigorous exercises are prohibited. A pregnant woman’s body when overly exercised is easily heated; meaning the chances of having a higher temperature is considerably at stake. A higher temperature will affect the fetal brain development. Exercises that can make a pregnant woman progressively sweat should also be avoided. If you are pregnant, lost of body fluid will decrease blood flow to the uterus.
Shortness of breathe is also manifested. Because while the fetus is on the stage of rapid growth, the quantity of air that enters the lungs increases, This increase of air in lungs are due to; first, each inhale and exhale accumulate more volume of air, second, because of the accumulation of air we breathe our breathing increases so we tend to feel like we are having shortness of breathe when in reality we increase the air we breathe. It is always best to drink a lot of water and fruits while you are pregnant.
