Child Development from 3 to 5 months

Every infant is God’s blessing. All members of family get excited when an infant is born. They all want to see her strong and healthy and wish her a good future. Infant’s journey begins from the very moment when she opens her eyes in this world. She has to fight with hostile factors like disease and safety. It is the responsibility of whole family and pediatricians to take care of her. Milk is complementary food for an infant. Mother should breastfeed her because it plays an important role for the nourishment of bones and muscles. She should be fed and pampered carefully and in a proper posture. Most of the people neglect these small instructions and steps, result of which is high infant mortality rate around the world and this article is a small step to reduce mortality rate and inform people.
First year of an infant plays an important role in her life. She is not only building her muscles and bones but also developing psyche, emotions, learning skills. During initial months, infant is spending much of her time in sleeping. So she should be kept in a warm, secure and calm environment and she requires constant surveillance. It is our duty to ensure that infants develop in safe, loving, and secure environments. Developmental delays can put negative effect on a child which may lead to speech, language difficulties, behavioral problem and learning abilities. First five months of an infant are very crucial because infants have no language to speak but only signs. Now we will discuss developments that an infant may show.
In third month, she screams and sucks hand of others. Can now recognize her mother and father and may even cry when a strangers carry her. Crying is still and only a way of communications. In this month, teeth begin to appear. She put things into mouth and responds to her name. She is also able to roll over. In fifth month, an infant can sit without anybody’s support for a short period of time.

These are the signs and symptoms that an infant shows during three to five months. These can vary in families. However on every step pediatricians should be consulted to make sure that they don’t have any problem.
