It is the big responsibility for sitters to ensure the parents about the safety of their babies. Sitters should never leave the children alone, they should be watchful and attentive when baby is awake and check him occasionally when he is sleeping because he can wake up and start to cry. Do not leave the baby unattended on a table, chair, and bathing tub or in a walker because they can fall and can hurt themselves.
Babysitters should not allow kids to play near closets, drawers, and store and storage location because these are not safe places to play. Keep all the sharp utensils like knife, scissor, medicine box, and tweezers out of reach to the hands of children.
Keep cigarettes, cigars, buttons, money, and pieces of small toys out of sight of the children. Do not bath infants or toddlers if not specially asked to do so. Always watch strictly when children are eating their meal and try to give bite size piece to toddlers because they may choke. |
