Daycare Daycare Center
Writing Activities

Teacher of a day care center should provide the print rich environment to the student of the class which helps them to learn about the formation of a specific letter and give them opportunities to strengthen their eye hand co-ordination during the process of writing. Children have the passion to play with paper and pencil and they are always enthusiastic to learn about the formation of letters and words. It is teacher’s responsibility to actively engage all the students of the class to learn about the formation of letters. Teacher can increase children’s interest in writing by drawing pictures that gives the sound of the letter which children are trying to write.

Teacher can also conduct coloring activity daily in the class, it helps the children to have a perfect grip on their pencil and provide them wonderful opportunity to play with colors which make them happy.

Day care centers should have a proper writing area for children where the staff should provide the opportunity to the students to experience writing practice with different materials, this practice will not only increase the interest of children in writing but it also help them to explore new writing materials.
