How to prevent drowning?

•Wear life jackets
Well, swimming or life jackets are strictly recommended for beginners and for weak swimmers as well. A life jacket comes in each and every size. You can choose life jacket even for your baby as well. Before buying life jacket from the store make sure that it is approved by the recognized agencies like Canadian coast guards etc or not. Lots of parents think that their babies are secure and comfortable because they are supervising them and they are also using floating devices as well but believe me, your baby can have an accident anytime, you can have hamstring or sudden asthma attack then who will look after your baby? Think about it…

•Fence your pool
According to research almost 70% kids drown in pool under the age of five. This serious rate of drowning among children can be reduced if you look after your children well and if you add fence to your backyard swimming pool.

•Have a safe swimming affair this summer
If you are organizing party near pool then make sure that it is fully supervised by adults so that your kids can not be the victim of the pool. You can request to some of your friends who are also good swimmer to help you to arrange a safe party near the pool.
