•Use your fingers as your baby’s first spoon
Your finger is soft, having the right temperature and above all your baby is most familiar and associated with it. Now introduce the small piece of a peach and encourage your baby to open his mouth. You just let him to taste the food so that his taste buds will also get familiar with the food. Now the next move will be, try to place the small piece of the food on the tongue of your baby and allow him to taste the food. If your baby swallows the food, it means that he really likes it and you can put another piece of fruit on your baby’s tongue.
•Watch your baby’s reaction
If your baby has swallowed the fruit with a sweet smile and if he pushes the food platter or pushes you with his hand, it means that your baby has liked the food and he really want to eat more. If he spit out the food instantly then it means that he just had a horrible experience with the food that you have introduced to him. |
