What to do If baby does not breath

If baby does not show any response than try to listen for baby’s respiration by leaning over to him and bringing you ear close to his nose and chest. Check out the baby’s chest and count the rise of chest for 5 seconds. If baby is not breathing than try to make him breathe by covering his nose and mouth by your mouth and give him a puff of hair.

Do it for ˝ a second and make sure that bay’s chest rise. Give him another small puff of fresh by removing your mouth form his mouth and nose and take a deep breath to have fresh air in and puff it to him.

Try to give him a chest compression by drawing a line between your baby’s nipple and start doing it by going 1 finger lower to baby’s nipples. Give him 30 quick chest compressions by holding your index finger up and pressing other 3 for chest compression. Give him chest compressions as fast as you can. Chest compressions actually move oxygenated blood through the body like the heart does.

If your baby does not move call to 911 quickly but keep giving him chest compressions and puffing of air alternately.
